Usually, Email is kept as a separate application into a Company, and every piece of Email is saved as a file into someone of the predefined folders in the User's computer. This is a very unproductive approach. Mykosmos keeps all Email of an enterprise into its database system. All of the Email accounts are maintained not by User's name but as User's Role in the enterprise. This way, Emails can be opened by all Users that share the same Role. Additionally, all Email is stored in the enterprise's server machine, ensuring that it rests in the most powerful and having more storage computer.
Emails and their attached files also are Documents
All incoming Email becomes Documents and is attached to their respective "Contacts" and "Business Partners". The files that are attached to the emails also become Documents and are related to the "Contacts" and "Business Partners". During the Email reading by the User, there is an opportunity to categorize the attached files, i.e., Documents. The same is applied to the outbound Email.
Email is not for In-Company Chatting and Job Assignments
Most of the incoming Email to an Associates inbox is nothing else but chatting sessions or job assignments. This grows untyped and unsystematized information exchange into the Company. Generic job assignment can take place by using the Task Assignment Procedure of Mykosmos. On the other hand, in-company chatting can be supported, in a more systematic and business-oriented method by Chatting Procedure of Mykosmos.
All Email goes automatically to the respective "Business Partner" and "Contact" objects. Along with the Activities that are related to those "Business Partner" and "Contact" objects fulfill whatever the CRM and the SRM required to do. Is worth mentioning that Email can coexist with classical email management software.
